Careers

Grow alongside people who take the craft seriously

Small senior teams, real ownership and time set aside to learn. Come and do work you will still be proud of in ten years.

KIASA is owned by the people who work in it. We design, build and run systems alongside our clients, and we hand them over in good order.

Why KIASA

We hire people who care how things are made. You will work in a team of five or six, close to the client and close to the code, with the time and the trust to do the job properly rather than quickly and twice.

There are no bench weeks and no anonymous staffing pools. You join a studio, you know the partners by name, and the work you do shows up in systems people rely on every day.

We are independent, so nobody sells you a product to push. We choose the right tool for the client, and we expect you to tell us when we have chosen wrong.

Ownership

Owned by the people who work in it

After your first year, you become an owner of KIASA. There are no outside investors, so the profit we make is shared among the people who made it, and decisions are made by people who will live with them.

Owners vote on new partners, see the accounts every quarter and can ask any question at the annual meeting. Most do.

“On my first project I shipped code in week two, and in month three I was the person the client called when something broke. Nobody hands you that kind of trust as a slogan. You get it because the team is small enough to notice what you do.”
