Workforce Enablement
Your teams, ready to run what we build
Training, pairing and coaching that leave your own people able to run, change and extend the systems we build together.

Our view
A system is finished when the people who run it no longer need us. That only happens if your teams build it with us. So we plan the handover from the first week, pair our engineers with yours, and measure our success by how quickly we become unnecessary.
Training in a classroom fades. Building real work beside an experienced colleague does not. Most of what we teach is taught at the keyboard.
We also train beyond engineering: product owners, operations staff and the leaders who need to ask the right questions.
By the numbers
Measured by how soon you need us less
- Week 1
- is when every KIASA program writes its handover plan, with names and dates.
- 520
- client engineers, designers and product owners coached by KIASA in the last twelve months.
- 8 in 10
- systems we have built are run day to day by the client's own team within a year of launch.
KIASA program records, October 2025 to September 2026.
What we do
Skills that stay after we leave
Pairing and shadowing
Your engineers work beside ours on real tasks, then lead while ours watch, then lead alone.
Engineering academies
Structured programs of eight to twelve weeks for teams moving to new platforms, languages or ways of working.
Role-based training
Short, practical courses for product owners, operations staff, testers and analysts, built around your own systems.
Communities of practice
Regular forums where your engineers share what they have learned, with our people there to help at first.
Runbooks and documentation
Written with your team as the system is built, tested in rehearsals and kept up to date by the people who use them.
Leadership coaching
For managers leading teams through new technology: how to fund, measure and support the change.

What we think
Thinking on people and skills
Perspective
Why the second year of a cloud migration matters more than the first
Ownership settles in year two. Teams trained during the build are the ones who capture the value.

AI in the back office: where the first real savings are showing up
The teams that saved most with AI trained their staff to check its work. What that training covered.

Platform pulse: what engineering leaders will fund in 2027
Skills are the constraint most often cited by 320 leaders planning for 2027.
Research report
The maintenance dividend
Knowledge held by too few people is a maintenance cost. How the best performers spread it.

“Our engineers did not just learn the new system. They built half of it. When KIASA stepped back, nobody on our side noticed a gap.”
How we work with you
From watching to leading
Assess the skills
A short review of your teams' current skills against the systems they will run, done with them, not to them.
Plan the handover
Names, dates and the skills each person needs, written in the first week of the program.
Build together
Pairing, academies and role-based training running alongside the real work.
Step back
Your team leads, we advise, and then we leave. Communities of practice keep the learning going.
Our leaders
Talk to the people who lead this work
Rosa Delgado
Practice Lead, Workforce Enablement
Designs handover plans and academies. Led the Riverholt County Council digital academy.
Samuel Boateng
Principal Engineer, Coaching
Pairs with client engineers on real work. Coached Tessera Health's team through the build.
Aroha Ngata
Lead, Learning Design
Builds role-based courses around clients' own systems, for engineers and non-engineers alike.
