Systems that serve students and staff
Student records, admissions and learning platforms for universities, colleges and school groups, built to survive enrollment week and the years after it.

What is changing
Education runs on a calendar that does not move. Admissions, enrollment, exams and results arrive on fixed dates, and the systems behind them get one chance a year to work. Institutions are replacing them while teaching continues, on budgets that rarely grow.
Students expect to apply, enroll, pay and check their results from a phone. Many institutions still run those steps across five systems and a shared inbox.
Data about attendance and progress is spread so widely that the staff who could act on it early rarely see it in time.
Three shifts in how institutions run
The student record moves on
Long-serving student systems are reaching the end of support. The replacement is a multi-year program that cannot interrupt a single intake.
Learning is hybrid by default
Lectures, assessment and feedback move between rooms and screens. The platforms behind them have to share one view of each student.
Early support needs joined-up data
Attendance, grades and wellbeing signals sit in separate places. Brought together with care, they let staff help a student in week three rather than week twelve.
By the numbers
Education, measured
- 3 weeks
- Average time saved in each admissions cycle at the institutions where we rebuilt the applicant portal.
- 99.98%
- Availability of the student platforms we run during peak enrollment weeks, over the last three years.
- 41%
- Fewer helpdesk tickets in the first term after a redesigned enrollment flow, across four institutions.

What we do
How we help universities and schools
We plan every release around the academic year, and leave your registry and IT teams able to run what we build.
Student record replacement
A new student system configured to your regulations and your courses, with the old one kept readable until every audit is closed.
Enterprise platformsAdmissions and enrollment
Application and enrollment flows tested with applicants, parents and staff, so the first contact with you is a good one.
Experience designLearning platform integration
Timetables, learning platforms, library and assessment tools sharing one view of each student and each course.
Integration and APIsStudent success data
Attendance, progress and engagement brought together under clear rules, with alerts designed with the advisors who act on them.
Artificial intelligence and dataPeak readiness
Load tests shaped by last year's enrollment week, run months before the next one, so the first morning of term is quiet.
Quality engineeringStaff capability
Training for the registry, IT and teaching teams who will run and extend the new systems after we leave.
Workforce enablement

Enrollment
Enrollment week, without the queue
For most universities enrollment is the busiest week of the year for every system at once. Fees, timetables, accommodation and identity cards all depend on one record being right.
We plan for that week from the start. Load is tested against last year's real traffic, every step has a fallback staff can run by hand, and a joint team sits in the same room for the first seventy-two hours.

Student success
Seeing who needs help while there is still time
The signs that a student is struggling usually appear early: missed sessions, late submissions, an unpaid fee. They sit in different systems owned by different teams.
We bring those signals together under clear rules about who may see what, and design the alerts with the advisors who will act on them. The aim is a short list of students to call this week, not another dashboard.

What we have built with educators

Westmere University
A university moves 34,000 student records to a new platform between two intakes
Replaced over fourteen months, with the old system kept readable for a full year after.

Calderbrook Schools Trust
Twenty-two schools share one timetable and one parent app
Parents see homework, attendance and messages in one place, whichever school their children attend.

Ellery College
A college cuts its admissions decisions from six weeks to ten days
An application flow rebuilt with applicants and admissions staff, and the manual checks moved behind it.

What we think
Reading for education leaders
Research report
AI in the back office: where the first real savings are showing up
Fee reconciliation and document checks are the kind of unglamorous work where AI is already saving finance teams hours.
Perspective
Why the second year of a cloud migration matters more than the first
Institutions that moved their student systems to the cloud are learning what it costs to run them there. Year two decides it.
Research report
The maintenance dividend
Most of an institution's technology budget keeps old systems running. How the best performers free some of it for teaching.
Perspective
Green software is mostly just good software
Institutions with climate commitments can count the carbon of their software too. A practical way to start.
Our leaders
Education leads
People who have run registry systems and learning platforms, and know the academic calendar by heart.
