Freight that is planned before it moves

Planning, tracking and settlement systems for freight carriers, rail operators and fleets, designed for the nights when everything has to be decided by morning.

What is changing

Logistics runs on thin margins and tight windows. Every night carriers plan thousands of routes, rail operators rework paths and fleets rebalance vehicles, often on systems that cannot see each other. The operators gaining ground are joining planning, tracking and billing on one platform.

Customers expect a live position and an honest arrival time, not a tracking number that updates only at the depot.

Fuel prices, emissions rules and driver shortages make every empty mile more expensive than it was five years ago.

Three shifts in how freight moves

  • Planning in hours, not days

Orders arrive later and change more often. Plans have to be rebuilt overnight, and again when the weather or a breakdown intervenes.

  • Visibility from yard to doorstep

Shippers, receivers and drivers expect to see the same position and the same arrival time, updated as things change.

  • Settlement that keeps up

Fuel surcharges, waiting time and partner invoices have to be reconciled automatically, or the margin disappears in the back office.

What we do

How we help carriers, rail operators and fleets

We build for the night shift: systems that finish their work on time, and say clearly when they cannot.

  • Network and route planning

Optimization that plans thousands of routes overnight and replans in minutes when something changes, with planners in control.

    Artificial intelligence and data
  • Tracking and visibility

Positions from vehicles, scanners and partners joined into one shipment status that every party can see.

    Integration and APIs
  • Transport management

Order, load and dispatch systems configured to the way your network runs, not the way a template assumes.

    Enterprise platforms
  • Settlement and billing

Rating, surcharges and partner invoices moved off old batch systems and reconciled as each shipment closes.

    Application modernization
  • Driver and depot apps

Apps for drivers, yard staff and depot managers, designed with them and built to work with poor signal and gloves on.

    Digital product engineering
  • Fleet electrification data

Range, charging and route data combined so that electric vehicles are scheduled where they will do the most good.

Planning

Four thousand routes, decided overnight

Osprey Freight used to plan its network in three systems that exchanged files at fixed times. A late order could miss the plan entirely, and a breakdown meant phone calls until dawn.

Planning now happens on one platform. Orders flow in as they arrive, the plan for 4,000 routes is built overnight, and planners can change any part of it in the morning and see the effect at once.

Visibility

One position, shared by everyone

A shipment is often seen by five systems: the shipper's, the carrier's, a partner's, the depot's and the receiver's. Each holds a slightly different version of where it is.

We join those signals into one status with one estimated arrival, exposed through APIs that shippers can build on. Customer service answers fewer calls, and the calls they do take start from the same facts.

Our leaders

Logistics and transport leads

People who have sat in control rooms at three in the morning, and build systems for them.

  • Kofi Mensah

    Industry Lead, Logistics and Transport

Ran network planning for a freight carrier before joining KIASA. Led the Osprey Freight program.

  • Sofia Petrova

    Route Optimization Lead

Builds the planning engines behind overnight route plans, and the tools that let planners override them.

  • Diego Hernández

    Fleet and Rail Systems Lead

Works on tracking, crew and rolling stock systems for operators of road and rail fleets.
