Clinical systems staff can rely on
Patient records, scheduling and clinical systems for hospitals, clinic networks and community care, designed with the people who use them between patients.

What is changing
Clinicians spend a large part of every shift at a screen, and much of that time goes on finding information that already exists somewhere else. Health organizations are joining up records, scheduling and referrals, while protecting patient data and never taking a ward offline to do it.
Networks grow through mergers, and each site arrives with its own record system. A patient seen in two clinics often has two histories that do not agree.
With staff in short supply, every wasted minute matters. A system that saves clicks gives time back to care.
Three shifts in how care is delivered
One record per patient
Merged networks are consolidating their records so that a history follows the patient from one site to the next.
Care outside the hospital
Virtual visits, remote monitoring and community teams need the same record as the ward, on a phone, often with no signal.
Data protection as patient safety
Ransomware has closed hospitals. Security is now part of clinical risk, planned and tested like any other clinical system.
By the numbers
Healthcare, measured
- 38
- Clinics brought onto a single patient record with Tessera Health.
- 22 min
- Average documentation time saved per clinician per shift, measured across three of our healthcare programs.
- 1 in 4
- Appointments in our clients' networks now booked by patients themselves, up from fewer than one in twenty.
- 0
- Hours of planned clinical downtime in our last five record migrations.

What we do
How we help hospitals and care networks
Every team includes people who have worked alongside clinicians, and every design is tested on a real shift before it goes live.
Patient record consolidation
Several record systems brought into one, with duplicate patients matched carefully and every history kept intact.
Application modernizationScheduling and patient access
Booking, reminders and waiting lists that patients can manage themselves, and that free reception staff for the people in front of them.
Experience designClinical integration
Labs, imaging, pharmacy and referrals connected through standard interfaces such as HL7 and FHIR, so results arrive where they are needed.
Integration and APIsClinical data and analytics
Governed data for capacity planning and quality reporting, with patient privacy designed in from the start.
Artificial intelligence and dataSecurity for care settings
Protection for clinical systems and medical devices, and recovery tested so a hospital can keep treating patients if the worst happens.
CybersecurityRunning clinical platforms
A standing team that keeps clinical systems available around the clock and improves them month by month.

Patient records
One record, without closing a clinic
When clinics join a network they bring their records with them, in different systems with different habits. Merging them is delicate work: two entries for the same patient must become one, and two different patients must never be merged.
We move clinics in small groups, with the old system readable alongside the new one until staff are confident. Matching is checked by people who know the patients, not only by software.

Clinical design
Designed between patients
A screen that looks tidy in a meeting room can cost a nurse minutes on a busy ward. We do our research where the work happens: at shift handover, on home visits, at the reception desk at eight in the morning.
Each change is tried on a real shift before it goes live, and measured by the time it takes to complete common tasks. If a change does not save time, it does not ship.

Tessera Health brings 38 clinics onto a single patient record
A clinic network that grew through mergers now has one record per patient, whichever clinic they walk into.
