Cloud and Platform Engineering

Make the right way the easy way

Cloud foundations and internal platforms that give every team a safe, quick and well-lit road to production.

Our view

Moving to the cloud is not the hard part. The hard part is what comes after: a dozen teams, each with its own way of building, securing and paying for things. We build one platform they would choose to use, and make it cheaper to follow than to ignore.

A good platform is a product. It has users, a roadmap and a team that listens to complaints. We build it that way, with your engineers, and measure it by how quickly a new service reaches production.

Costs are designed in, not discovered later. Every environment is tagged, budgeted and reported in plain language from the first month.

By the numbers

What a good platform changes

320
technology leaders told us where their platform budgets move in 2027, in our annual Platform pulse survey.
45 min
from a new service's first commit to production on the platforms we build, down from days.
28%
average cut in monthly cloud spend in the first year after a KIASA cost review.

What we do

Foundations, platforms and the habits around them

  • Cloud foundations

Accounts, networks, identity and guardrails set up once and properly, so every team starts from the same secure ground.

  • Internal developer platforms

Templates, pipelines and self-service environments that take a new service from idea to production without a ticket.

  • Infrastructure as code

Every server, network and permission described in code, reviewed like code and rebuilt from scratch in minutes.

  • Cloud migration

Workloads moved in planned waves, each one tested, measured and handed over before the next begins.

  • Cloud cost management

Spend tagged, forecast and shown to the teams who cause it, with a monthly review that ends in decisions, not charts.

  • Reliability engineering

Service levels agreed with the business, alerts that mean something and a calm, practised way of handling incidents.

How we work with you

A platform built as a product

  1. Listen to the teams

Two weeks interviewing the engineers who will use the platform, and timing how long things take today.

  2. Lay the foundations

Identity, networks, guardrails and cost reporting, in code, reviewed with your security and finance teams.

  3. Move the first service

One real service goes to production on the new road. Its team tells us what to fix before the next.

  4. Hand over the product

Your platform team runs the roadmap. We stay as long as you want us, and no longer.

Our leaders

Talk to the people who lead this work

  • Mei Lin Zhou

Practice Lead, Cloud and Platform Engineering

Has built internal platforms for logistics, telecommunications and software companies. Leads the Platform pulse survey.

  • Callum Reid

    Principal Platform Engineer

Designed Osprey Freight's road to production. Believes a platform is finished when nobody files a ticket to use it.

  • Nadia Haddad

    Lead, Cloud Cost Management

Turns cloud bills into decisions. Led the cost review that cut Tellbay Mobile's spend by a third.
