Film series

Grown with KIASA

The people who run the systems we helped build tell the story in their own words. A short film series from the field, hosted by our managing partner.

Six films, each about four minutes long, recorded where the work happens: claims floors, depots, clinics and control rooms.

No scripts and no actors. We asked what changed, what was hard, and what they would do differently.

About the series

Told by the people who run them

Case studies tell you what a system does. These films tell you what it is like to own one: the night before go-live, the first storm on a new claims platform, the day a clinic forgot which system it used to have.

Elena Marsh, our managing partner, visits each client and asks the same three questions: what changed, what was hard, and what would you do differently. The answers are not always flattering to us, and we have kept them in.

Each episode links to the full case study, with the numbers behind the story.

“We did not want a showreel. We wanted the people who live with these systems to say, in their own words, whether they were worth it. Most of them said yes. One of them told us what we got wrong, and that is in the film too.”

How the films are made

A small crew, a day on site, no script

A crew of three spends a day with each client. We film the work as it happens and interview the people who do it. The client sees the cut before anyone else and can remove anything that is commercially sensitive. They cannot add claims that their own numbers do not support.

Every figure in a film is checked against the client's own records and appears in the matching case study.
